DIN 7396:2015-01

This document specifies methods for measurement of the acoustical properties of decoupling elements of heavy landings and heavy flights in respect to impact sound reduction and insertion loss. It specifies test methods which allow to determine impact sound reduction and insertion loss of decoupling elements under standardized test conditions as number values. The determination of impact sound reduction is mandatory. The determination of insertion loss is optional and can be determined in addition to the impact sound reduction if needed. If insertion loss is determined, Annex A shall be used.
