This standard applies to Elastomeric-Waterstops for sealant of joints in concrete and decided the requirements to the materials of Elastomeric-Waterstops which accord to the state of the art. This standard is integral part of the standard DIN 7865-1 which defined shape and dimensions of the Elastomeric-Waterstops. Part 2 of this standard can be used alone, when the Waterstop dimensions diverge from the dimension describe in Part 1.
