This standard applies to stud-eye head fittings with threaded shank for swivels and turnbuckles, preference on vessels as well as on land. The stud-eye Form C and Form D according to this standard shall not used as lifting devices, lifting accessories or girder accessories for the purposes of DIN 15003.
