DIN 83227:1994-11

Steps in accordance with this document are made out perforated plates. They will replace the steps made out stud plates in accordance with DIN 83207 (for engine rooms and boiler rooms) and DIN 83210 (for the outdoor area on ships), because they have better anti-slip properties. The document will apply for civil seagoing vessels and for naval vessels. Therefore it will replace partial also the navy-standard VG 85224.
