Summary
This standard specifies requirements to the construction, design and safety for common basket trolleys for transporting goods equipped with or without child carrying facility and with or without basket or second base tray. This standard applies for pedestrian controlled basket trolleys which are not intended to be used on passenger conveyors.
Notes
A transition period, as set out in DIN 8472-1 (2022-06), exists until 2022-12-01.
