DIN 89283:2016-03

This standard applies to cable screw bushings for the insertion of two- and three-wire cables, e. g. rubber-sheathed flexible cables or similar cable designs into watertight plug and socket devices, as coupling sockets according to DIN 89266 and plugs according to DIN 89267. The type A cable screw bushing serves only as cable insertion. The type B cable screw bushing allows the additional strain relief of the inserted cable.
