Summary

This standard applies to junction inserts which are preferably used in junction boxes according to DIN 89250 and socket-outlets according to DIN 89262 and DIN 89263. They consist of a socket made of insulating material mounted with four or two mantle terminals. They are dimensioned for a pollution degree 3 according to DIN EN 60664-1 (VDE 0110-1). Each mantle terminal is suitable for the installation of maximum three conductors with nominal cross-section up to 2,5 mm 2.
