Prevailing torque type hexagon nuts with nonmetallic insert

Summary

The standard covers the former hexagon units with prevailing torque element (prevailing torque type lockunits) and non-metallic insert. Instead of these units, in future, units according to DIN 6924 (ISO units) shall be used. For this reason, DIN 982 is no longer to be used for new designs.
