Summary
This European standard specifies the safety requirements for mobile demolition machinery that is designed for pulling (tearing) down or fragmenting buildings and/or other civil engineering structures and their component parts and/or separating the resultant debris. Mobile demolition machinery can be an earth-moving machine (see EN 474-1:1994, -3:1996 and -5:1996) equipped with special equipment and attachments for demolition work, for example, ball, breaker (pick), crusher, hammer, jaws. Mobile demolition machinery may be controlled by a ride-on operator or by a remote control system.
