The TS defines a standard server-to-server Open API. The Open API will provide a simple standardised way for any journey planner to communicate with any distant journey planning systems on an occasional basis. It may also support communication with end-user devices.The API will not be concerned about the journey planning architecture of the requesting or responding systems, and it is not intended to replace existing APIs already optimised for their own local systems
