This Technical Specification CEN/TS 1992-4-1 - General, describes the general principles and requirements for safety, serviceability and durability of fasteners for use in concrete, together with specific requirements for structures serving as base material for the fasteners. It is based on the limit state concept used in conjunction with a partial factor method. The numerical values for partial factors and other reliability parameters are recommended values and may be changed in a National Annex, if required. The recommended values apply when: a) the fasteners comply with the requirements of 1.2.2, and b) the installation complies with the requirements of 4.5.
