Summary
This part of this European Standard contains the classification and requirements of fire fighting centrifugal pumps with priming devices up to a delivery rate of 6000 l/min. These pumps are normally used in mobile applications and can be operated within different pressure ranges and delivery rates. Among other things the informative Annex ZB was supplemented with the A1, in order to link the connection with the amended machinery directive 2006/42/EC.

DIN EN 1028-1 (2002-11) remains valid alongside this standard until 2009-12-28.
