Summary
This standard defines the application of liquid applied internal coating, epoxy and epoxy-modified resins, for the reduction of friction of tubes and pipeline fittings for conveyance of non corrosive gas. Other resin systems are not precluded. The coating shall consist of one layer of liquid product, normally factory applied by airless spray or conventional spray technique upon approval by the purchaser. Brush application shall be used only for repairs.
