This document comprises as so called consolidated version EN 1088:1995 and EN 1088/A1:2007 supplemented by Amendment A2:2008 which has been elaborated in conjunction with the revised Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and provides the reference to this Directive to be applied from 2009-12-29.

Notes

DIN EN 1088 (1996-02) and DIN EN 1088/A1 (2007-07) remain valid alongside this standard until 2009-12-28.*A transition period, as set out in DIN EN ISO 14119 (2014-03), exists until 2015-04-30.
