Summary
The document specifies the test procedures for the simulation of the abrasive action of traffic on coarse aggregates used in a surface layer. It shall be used in preference to the micro-Deval test specified in EN 1097-1 when hard aggreates such as those used in surface layers in Finnland, Norway and Sweden, are tested. The test shall be carried out on aggregates with a size fraction of 11,2 mm to 16,0 mm.
