The document specifies the determination of dimensional stability of bitumen sheets. It is intended for the characterization and/or classification of bitumen sheets as manufactured or supplied before use. The test is intended to determine dimensional changes in bitumen sheets as a result of production-induced internal stresses released under the effect of heat. This test can be used to measure basic properties of the bitumen sheeting directly relevant to its fitness for purpose for waterproofing applications.
