This European Standard contains coordinating sizes for kitchen furniture including worktops as well as for kitchen appliances, sinks and decorative panels. For convenience, in this standard the terms 'furniture' and 'appliance' are used for 'kitchen furniture' and 'kitchen appliance'. It defines dimensions for the height, the width, the depth and the space to enable furniture, appliances, sinks and decorative panels to fit together as elements of kitchen equipment. This European Standard does not apply to catering equipment.
