This European Standard covers the technical safety requirements for the design and construction of internal mixers for plastiques and rubber. Suitable measures shall be taken with the design and construction so that persons working with the machines or in the vincinity are not endangered. Specifications on safety requirements, construction, design, hazards, guarding and interlocking are descriped in several paragraphs.
