Summary
This European Standard specifies the requirements and/or measures to remove the hazards and/or limit the risks on double end tenoning and/or profiling machines fed by chain or chains, designed to cut solid wood, chipboard, fibreboard or plywood and also these materials, where they are covered with plastic laminate or edgings. The workpiece is fed passed the tools by an integrated feed.

DIN EN 1218-2 (2004-11) and DIN EN 1218-2 Berichtigung 1 (2007-04) remain valid alongside this standard until 2009-12-28.
