The document specifies the minimum requirements for certain aspects concerning material, design, construction and workmanship, manufacturing processes and tests at the manufacturer of non-refillable metallic gas cylinders of welded, brazed or seamless construction used for permanent, liquefied or dissolved gases exposed to ambient temperatures. The document is not applicable to cartridges/aerosol and spherical containers.
