Summary
This part of EN 12326 specifies requirements for roofing slates and other stones, as defined in 3.1, used for assembly into discontinuous roofs and walls cladding. It does not apply to roof products made from the following: a) Stone other then those defined in 3.1; b) Concrete; c) Polymeric materials; d) Fibre reinforced cement; e) Metal; f) Clay. For the purposes of the standard, natural roofing slates have been classified according to the product type and the stone from which they are made.
