This European Standard describes the procedures used to determine the carbonation rate of a concrete expressed in mm/?year. This European Standard describes the procedure where a standardized storage chamber is used and where specimens are placed on a natural, but protected from direct rainfall exposure site. These procedures are suitable for the initial testing of concrete, but they are not appropriate for factory production control.
