Summary
This European standard specifies the performance requirements and method of assessment for prefabricated facade access scaffold systems. They are intended for use up to 24 m high while connected to the facade with ties. It provides for five classifications: by service load; by width; by headroom; by facilities provided; and by vertical access equipment. This part should be read in conjunction with prEN 12811 which specifies certain of the requirements.
