This European standard establishes the characteristic resistance Ru of prefabricated load bearing towers with and without horizontal loads, and gives advice on design values. Interpretation of the result of assessments of independant towers should make it possible to evaluate the load bearing capacity where these towers are used in arrangements and combination to be recommended by the manufacturers.
