Summary
This standard applies to machines, plants and related equipment intended to be used in the cleaning and pretreatment of industrial items for processes using flammable cleaning liquids. Machines intended for the use with a mixture of liquids, even in emulsion form, which can potentially create, even temporarily, a condition of flammability have to comply with this standard.
