DIN EN 13009:2000-04

The document specifies a procedure for determination the hygrig expansion or contraction behaviour of building materials as a property of moisture content. It is applicable for mineral, porous hygroscopic materials. For other materials showing moisture deformations, the procedure specified can be adapted in a suitable way taking into account their specific moisture behaviour. This document is relevant to material states when practically reversible expansion/contraction processes may be assumed but excluding initial shrinkage tests after material production. This procedure does not take precedence over material specific test methods.
