Summary
This European Standard contains the requirements for safety for the design and installation of glass presses from the feeding of the gob after shearing up to and including the take-out mechanism as far as this is part of the press. This European Standard deals with all significant hazards pertinent to glass presses when used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer (see clause 4). This European Standard specifies the appropriate technical measures to eliminate or reduce the risks arising from the significant hazards.
