Summary

This document specifies the safety and minimum performance requirements and test methods for double acting hydraulic rescue tools used by the fire and rescue services. Minor technical changes and the modification of informative Annex ZA are supplemented to link the standard with the amended machinery directive 2006/42/EC.

A transition period, as set out in DIN EN 13204 (2016-12), exists until 2017-03-31.
