The document specifies requirements for products that are suitable for use in areas subject to pedestrian and vehicular tarffic. Kerb units are used to fullfil one or more of the following: separation, physical or visual delineation, the provision of drainage or the containment of areas of paving or other surfacing. Criteria are: definitions, requirements for materials, requirements for the product such as strength, water absorption, slip resistance, resistance against frost and deicing salts, dimensional accuracy.
