This is the consolidated Version of EN 13411-2:2001 and includes the amendment A1:2008 to the standard. This standard specifies requirements for splicing of eye terminations for six or eight stranded steel wire rope slings. Type tests covering the type acceptance of splicing methods are also specified. The hazards covered by this standard are identified in clause 4.

DIN EN 13411-2 (2002-04) remains valid alongside this standard until 2009-12-28.
