Summary

This is the consolidated version of EN 13411-5:2003 and includes the amendment A1:2008 to the standard. This European Standard specifies the minimum requirements for U-bolt wire rope grips for eye terminations of steel wire ropes according to EN 12385-1, EN 12385-4 and EN 12385-5 . Type tests are specified. Construction and sizes for two suitable designs of wire rope grips are given as examples in informative annexes A and B. These annexes give also instructions on the fitting.

DIN EN 13411-5 (2003-09) remains valid alongside this standard until 2009-12-28.
