Summary
This document specifies the procedure for the determination of the bending tensile strength of autoclaved concrete (AAC) by means of prismatic specimens taken from prefabricated components. The bending tensile strength is determined by applying an uniform bending moment in the middle third of the span of the simply supported prismatic test specimen by means of two-point loading. The method of centre-point loading may also be used and is specified in annex A.
