This standard specifies the general requirements for the ergonomics, performance, innocuousness, sizing and coverage of field hockey goal keepers' equipment, providing protection to the hand, arms, chest, abdomen, legs, feet and genitals, and field players' shin protectors. Requirements for the marking of equipment and the information to be supplied by the manufacturer are given. Test methods are described and performance levels are defined.
