DIN EN 13654-2:2002-01

This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of 'total' nitrogen in soil improvers and growing media. The dry combustion method was developed originally as a manual method by Dumas. Its application is improved greatly due to the use of modern automated equipment and is applicable to all forms of nitrogen. The procedures described herein apply only to those samples that are supplied to the laboratory in the form in which they shall be used for their intended purpose.
