Summary
To revise this part of EN 1366 which specifies a test method for determining the fire resistance of ducts. This European Standard is not applicable to: - ducts whose fire resistance depends on the fire resistance performance of a ceiling; - ducts containing fire dampers at points where they pass through fire separations; - access panels, which are evaluated independent from the tested ducts/duct walls; - two or three sided ducts; - fixing of suspension devices to floors or walls.
