DIN EN 13807:2003-12

This Standard specifies the requirements for the design, manufacture, identification and testing of a battery vehicle. This Standard is applicable to battery vehicles containing compressed gas, liquefied gas and mixtures thereof. It is also applicable to battery vehicles for acetylene. The specific requirements for acetylene are included in Annex B. Toxic gases with an LC50 of less than 200- ppm are not allowed to be transported in battery vehicles. This Standard does not apply to the vehicle chassis or motive unit or to cylinders mounted in ISO frames for multimodal transport.
