This European Standard specifies the design, manufacture, testing, and inspection, of commercial LPG spring loaded pressure relief valves, which are (where necessary) installed to reduce the effects of unacceptable overpressure due to thermal expansion or fire in the following vessels:- - Static LPG vessels. The vessels may be situated above ground, underground or mounded, in accordance with PrEn 12542 or WI0028605. - LPG vessels in road tankers, PR EN12493 rail cars, tank containers or demountable tanks.
