Summary
This document specifies essential requirements, ranges of approval, test conditions and functional knowledge appropriate to the welding unit for the approval testing ot the performance of welding personnel performing fully mechanized or automatic welding of metallic materials. A recommended format for an approval test certificate is given in annex C. This document is applicable when approval testing or welding personnel is required by the purchaser, by inspection authorities of by other organizations.
