Summary

This document describes a selection of test which secure a satisfactorily ability and performance of positive displacement pumps. The Draft is applicable for oszillating as well as rotary positive displacement pumps. The draaft does neither cover tests for noise or vibration nor those tests for special fluids (e. g. hazardous fluids). For special type of the listed pumptypes additional tests might be necessary.
