DIN EN 14461:2002-10

The standard is applicable to all types of industrial fans, but not to fans intended for household or similar purposes. The standard lists the significant hazards associated with fans and specifies safety requirements applicable to the design, installation, operation, maintenance and dismantling of fans during their foreseeable lifetime and subsequent disposal. Further provisions for additional applications are part of specific standards. The informative annex A contains labels, signs and tags which should be used on the fan.
