Summary
This European Standard specifies safety requirements for floating landing stages and floating equipment for pedestrian traffic and their equipment. Requirements for supply and return systems of ships are not covered by this standard. It is not applicable to: - landing stages for automobile traffic; - floating landing stages for recreational craft and for crafts of inland navigation others than vessels, e. g. floating construction equipment; - special requirements for floating landing stages used for the transhipment of dangerous goods; - any landing stages between vessel and floating landing stage that might be needed; - special floating constructions that are not used for pedestrian traffic or landing of vessels.
