Summary
This document specifies the requirements and classification of fire fighting centrifugal pumps without priming devices up to a delivery rate of 6000 l/min. The pumps are normally used in mobile applications such as airfield crash trucks and as boosted pumps, submersible pumps and floating pumps. The pumps can operate within different pressure ranges and delivery rates. Among other things the informative Annex ZB was supplemented, in order to link the connection with the amended machinery directive 2006/42/EC.
