DIN EN 14714:2005-06

This European Standard specifies requirements for the connection nozzle for equipment and devices at cargo tanks on inland navigation tankers and describes the interface between these equipment and devices and the cargo tank. This standard addresses the requirement of the ADNR/ADN (European Convention for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods on the Rhine/European Convention for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods on Waterways) with regard to the connection possibilities of an enclosed/partially enclosed sampling device. The connection nozzle can be used for quality and quantity control of liquid transported goods as well as for the empty control of the cargo tanks. By this standardised interface the required measures for inspection and service should be made easier.
