Summary

This European Standard deals with the requirements, the basic performance criteria and evaluation of conformity for blocks made in normal or lightweight aggregate concrete, also in clay or polystyrene or alveolar plastic or wood composite, used in conjunction with beams in compliance with prEN 15037-1 and/or cast-in-situ concrete (topping) for the construction of beam-and-block floor systems. Annex B of prEN 15037-1:2004 gives the typology of different types of floor systems. Amendment 1 updates the standard in clauses 4, 5 and Annex ZA.

Notes

Under certain conditions, DIN 4158 (1978-05) remains valid alongside this standard until 2012-04-30.
