DIN EN 15193-1:2014-10

This standard specifies the calculation methodology for the evaluation of the amount ofenergy used for lighting in the building and provides the numeric indicator for lighting energyrequirements for certification purpose. This standard can be used for existing buildings andfor the design of new or renovated buildings. This standard will also provide methodology forthe calculation of electric power requirement for new lighting installations and for thecalculation of dynamic lighting energy defined by active facades and lighting controls for usein the estimation of the total energy performance of the building. The standard will beaddressing the needs of tertiary and domestic lighting. It will also provide reference schemesand benchmark targets for energy usage by lighting details of expenditure factors andinspection of lighting installations.
