Summary
This draft standard specifies the interoperability requirements for the tractor/trailer and/or transport tank/trailer plug/socket, being: - the connection used for the supply electrical power to service equipment in hazardous areas; and - the supply characteristics for each operating mode. This plug/socket combination includes provisions for future connections including data transfer. This draft standard is not applicable to permanent power supplies and/or the tachograph.
