DIN EN 15470:2008-02

This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of the residual matter in liquefied petroleum gases (LPG). The dissolved residue is the amount of organic compounds which is detectable by gas chromatography after evaporation of the sample at ambient temperature and then in an oven at 105 °C. The method is not suitable for detecting solid materials nor possibly high molecular weight polymers (1000). This method is being developed as a potential replacement of EN ISO 13757 method, which would be safer and more environmentally friendly. In addition, this new method is more accurate.
