This European Standard provides guidance on assessing and quantifying the quality of rivers based on a suite of hydromorphological features described in EN 14614. Specifically, it sets out a simple scoring system and suggests suitable sources of information which may contribute to hydromorphological assessments. This standard enables consistent assessments across a wide spectrum of river habitat quality.
