This part of the European Standard defines requirements for the verification of compliance with the sustainability criteria for biofuels and bioliquids, in accordance with legal requirements. This Standard defines requirements for an adequate standard of independent auditing of the information submitted by economic operators, and the implementation by economic operators, of the mass balance method of chain of custody control. The standard also defines requirements on conformity assessment bodies to check compliance with the present standard.
