DIN EN 16486:2012-10

This standard specifies the safety requirements for the design, manufacture and information for the safe use of compactors. This standard applies to static compactors and transportable integral compactors. This standard also applies to the feed hopper for mechanical feeding and feeding by hand. The scope includes any integral mechanical feed devices (e. g. bin lift/skip hoist).
